I'm a chronic depressive, so I ended up writing about it in this quick poem. Review if you care.

X

Sinking to the bottom

I swim toward the top

I make it there and float

Along the currents

Sometimes they're slow and mellow

Sometimes they're fast and rough

Sometimes they get to be too much

I sink back down

I almost drown

But again I make it to the top

Up and down

I catch the flow and lose it

Sinking all the way again

I think I'm going to drown

But I swim back up, catch a breath,

And ride the flow again.
