Summer Night

Ashley McGrain

It was a summer night.

Cool, muggy, damp,

The usual summer nights in Gates,

My family were out of town,

Which made me have the house to myself.

With having four of my many crazy friends stay over for the night,

We did something that we will remember on our death beds.

While taking off our cloths,

We ran down the street.

It was already dark out,

So no one could see us,

We only ran a couple houses away,

Afraid of getting the cops called,

Once we ran inside my house,

We put our cloths back on,

This day we will all remember on our death beds.
