We Met Under Cherry Trees

Chapter 3: The Meeting

(Calysia's P.O.V.)

I waved lightly knowing Samuel was most likely mad at me.

"Calysia…" Samuel had this certain way of expressing his rage, in most ways he gets really angry really fast, and tends to get really red in the face. As funny as that seems I was currently not laughing, more like… cringing away.

"The expression on you're face is charming dear brother," I drawled sarcastically trying to blow off the wave of nausea.

My brother's eyes flashed, "Shut up,"

I stuck out my tongue, probably not the best idea, "For a dollar" I finished lamely unable to think of something sarcastic to reply. Then again, its so early in the morning why should I have to.

His face contorted as though trying to understand what I meant.

Throwing my arms up in the air I left the kitchen. I flipped my phone open to check the text from Aimee.

Morning, meeting by the cherry tree?

-- Aimee

Definitely.

-- Calysia

I'll tell Chris.

-- Aimee

Be there in 5

-- Calysia

Better be!

-- Christina

Random…

-- Calysia

Trust Aimee to tell Christina I'd be there in 5 minutes. And of course Christina would make some silly little threat she'd forget she even said by the time I got there anyway.

I walked slowly enjoying the scenery. The lush grass, and bright green leaves covered the trees in bunches. Then in the middle of the park was a light beige bricked path with a line of cherry trees on one side.

The cherry trees were releasing the beautiful pink petals from their thin branches. I kept walking before I saw a young girl, the wind blew the girl's jet black hair into her face. I reached the girl in no time at all before my hand reached out and tucked the hair behind her ear.

Shocked by my own actions, I realized I was studying the girl. She had light gray eyes you could admittedly get lost in, and her skin was tannish pale. But, the most shocking was that a rosey blush had claimed her cheeks.

What am I doing!? My thoughts screamed. Then I noticed: the white knee-high socks, the brown shoes, pink skirt, white shirt with the pink sailor collar, the necktie done to perfection, "That uniform…" I trailed off.

The girl blushed redder, "Yeah I go to Kawaii high," she grinned as if forgetting what had just happened. I found myself staring at her again, at her adorable grin, her bright eyes.

Oh boy, I sure was an unlucky bastard.

Author's Comments: Okay, yeah you can beat me up for it being short and all, but in my defense, I wrote this chapter in a spiral, as well as chapters 4-6. I may continue writing it that way and just make it longer in the spiral, I just happen to be running out of spiral paper so i'm trying not to use it all up. Anyway, YES. This is the meeting. THEY HAVE FINALLY MET. And they had a small moment. And what's this... is Calysia feeling a little less straight hmmmm.... I wonder. xD CONTINUE READING. R&R if you can i love getting reviews. The more reviews the longer the chapters will be after chapter 6.
