Halloween Horror

A/N: I would have uploaded this closer to Halloween but there were some complications. Please read and review and I'll post more, thanks.

Prologue

The thick barrier of forest and the frost biting veil of the cold air closed in all around her as she ran down the dirt tracks from the horrors she had just witnessed.

"Juliana!" She heard someone scream from far off behind her. "Juliana! Wait!"

The screams were followed by gunshots. Loud, lethal sounding gunshots. She was running so fast she could barely breathe.

Her left foot caught on something on the ground and she totally lost her balance. She hurtled towards the ground like a lead weight and smacked her head. She tumbled over several times and lost consciousness.
