Fairytale

"Prince Charming,

little darling,

will come for you

someday."

My mother told me this.

She drew pictures

of a white horse

and a handsome man.

Pictures of a castle,

grand in its majesty.

Me, wearing a gown,

flowers in my hair.

Well, mom.

Guess what?

You were

wrong.

Prince Charming

hasn't yet found me.

I'm still locked up

inside my tower.

I'm not rescued.

I'm not saved.

I'm still trapped.

I'm still alone.

There's no

Prince Charming

waiting out there,

waiting for me.

I'd've been

found by now.

I'd be so

much happier.

"Prince Charming,

little darling,

will come for you

someday."

Lies.

All of it.

Lies.

A/N: I swear, it must be. Everyone around me has someone they like either openly or secretly that likes them back. Gino and Anissa, Miranda and Nick.. where's my love? D= And the thing is, these couples are so perfect for each other! I feel left out. -sob-
