A tear slides mutely south,
Into an open mouth,
Staring at the things I’d never seen,
Captured by the picture on the screen.

And I wish,
I was blind,
Don’t pay me,
Any mind,
I can’t stop,
I can’t breathe,
But still it stares right back at me.

Red, green, and blue,
Show me the truth,
I think I’ve gone insane,
To the colours of pain.

Alone, they leave me be,
No sad scene to torment me,
But together in a certain hue,
All I see are pictures of you.

And I wish,
I was blind,
Promise me,
I’ll be fine,
I can’t stop,
I can’t blink,
Lit up with pain, I just can’t think.

Red, green, and blue,
Show me the truth,
I think I’ve gone insane,
To the colours of pain.

I told you once, don’t be afraid,
Just walk your path, you’ll have it made,
I just had thought, maybe you’d see,
The path you had, didn’t have me.

Red, green, and blue,
Show me the truth,
I think I’ve gone insane,
To the colours of pain.

Sadly I still wish them the best,
We can ignore the blood on my chest,
Do I have to fall asleep fearing the stain,
Or just hide from the three colours of pain?

A tear slides mutely south,
Into an open mouth,
Staring at the things I’d never seen,
Captured by the picture on the screen.
