Another poem about love; this time from the ideal that love remains through death.
The
surest thing in life,
Is that there will come a day,
When my
time on Earth is over,
And that I will pass away.
But just
'cause I've crossed over,
And have been put in the ground,
Never
let it make you think
That I'm not still around.
I'll be there
when you're hurting,
I'll be there when you're down,
I'll be
there to bring you joy
And make a smile from your frown.
I'll
be there when life's good to you,
I'll be there when it's
bad,
I'll be there when you're happy
And more so when you're
sad.
I'll be there to guide you,
I'll be there to console
you,
And when you feel you can't go on,
I'll be there to hold
you.
So when you're looking for some solace -
Even though I've
died -
I'll never break my promise:
I'll be there by your side.
