A/N: I know I said it would be up this weekend, but I just couldn't resist. Here it is, my pretties. The moment you've all been waiting for.

he just came in for a few hours to uh, to uh, fuck me.”

- Julia Roberts, “My Best Friend's Wedding”

CHAPTER ONE

“You may now kiss the bride.”

Finally, Forrest Masterson thought to himself as the congregation stood up and clapped.

He was excited for his older brother, really he was, but couldn't they have gotten married sooner? Say, five, maybe six years earlier? Before they had a child together? Forrest couldn't believe how long it took River and Fallon to finally get married. They'd been together since he was six years old, and they just decided to get married two years ago? What the fuck? Sure, they constantly fought and argued, but that was what made their relationship. They bitched at each other until one finally gave up or they made up five minutes later. Those two could never stay mad at each other for very long. Not to mention keep their hands off of each other. Which Forrest found disgusting after he hit puberty when he was thirteen and did the same thing with girls his age.

Thankfully, River and Fallon kept the kiss age appropriate and the priest said, “It is my honor to now present to you, Mr. and Mrs. River Masterson!”

As River and Fallon made their way down the aisle, Logan linked arms with Charity Riley, Fallon's sister; Brock linked arms with his wife, Kansas; and Forrest grinned at Logan's wife, Crystal. As they walked down the aisle together, Forrest caught a glimpse of long blonde hair in the last row. His smile grew bigger, if that was at all possible. The brown eyed girl winked at him with a smile and Forrest winked back at her. He couldn't believe that she made it to the wedding. She was supposed to be in Paris for another week.

Once the photographer was done taking pictures of the wedding party, everyone gathered inside the grand ballroom of the hotel where the wedding reception was being held. River and Fallon stayed behind since the photographer wanted to take pictures of them alone.

Forrest joined his other brothers at the head table and plopped down into a chair next to his oldest brother, Logan. “What's up, little man?” Logan patted Forrest on the back with a grin.

Forrest rolled his deep blue eyes. “You know, you guys can stop calling me that,” Forrest told his brother. “I'm not a little kid anymore.”

“Ah, but you're still the baby, little brother,” the third oldest, Brock, grinned.

Forrest sighed. It was tough being the youngest of four boys. At seventeen, Forrest was about to start his senior year at Notre Dame Catholic High School, the school all of his brothers attended. With a well known last name like Masterson, Forrest definitely had some big shoes to fill. All three of his brothers ruled the school when they were seniors and it was Forrest's job to keep the legacy going. He'd been at the top of the social ladder since he was a freshman and there was nothing anyone could do to bring him down.

It wasn't hard for him to follow in his brothers' footsteps since Forrest was blessed with the Mastersons' signature black hair, deep blue eyes, and charming personality. Being the youngest did have its advantages and Forrest was able to perfect every trick in the book when it came to the opposite sex. All of the Mastersons were known for being notorious playboys, and Forrest thought he did a good job at living up to the name.

He had a long streak of broken hearts, a diverse list of ex-girlfriends, and probably more notches in his bedpost than he cared to count. Forrest had a reputation to live up to and he was doing a damn good job at it. Now all he really needed to do was find a girl who could give him a run for his money and fall in love with her. That's what all of his brothers did. They all fell in love with girls who challenged them and Forrest had yet to find that kind of girl. He hoped she would come around soon because the Mastersons had a thing for challenges. And Forrest was tired of waiting for his to come along.

“Fuck you guys,” Forrest said with a smile on his face, causing his older brothers to laugh.

Logan and Brock started to say something to him, but Forrest wasn't paying any attention to them. His blue eyes were scanning the room for a certain blonde haired, brown eyed girl. He knew she was somewhere around the room. Or maybe he'd just missed her so much that his mind conjured up her image as he walked down the aisle with Crystal. Forrest's eyes lit up. So she wasn't an illusion. She was sitting there, in the flesh, with her back to him, talking to a brown haired, green eyed boy. Forrest got up from his seat, ignoring anything else his brothers were saying.

“Where you going, little man?” Logan called from behind him.

Forrest waved him off and ignored Brock's response of, “Do you really need to ask? His girl's here,” Brock and Logan shared matching smirks and shook their heads.

As he got closer to the table, the boy eyed him and grinned. Forrest put a finger to his lips, silently telling the boy to be quiet. He covered the blonde's eyes with his hands and laughed quietly when she jumped slightly. Bringing his lips to her ear, he said, “Guess who?”

“Hmm... Brad Pitt?” Forrest could hear the smile in her tone.

Forrest rolled his eyes. “Please. Brad Pitt's got nothing on a Masterson.”

The girl chuckled a little. “Brad Pitt's also not as cocky as a Masterson either,” she put her soft hands on Forrest's rough ones and gently removed them from her eyes. She stood up and turned around to face him, a bright smile on her face.

“Not cocky, Lena. Confident. I thought we've been over this,” he grinned at her.

Lena didn't reply, she just grabbed Forrest's hand and pulled his body to hers for a big hug. Forrest held her tightly, closed his eyes, and took in the familiar passion fruit scent of her hair. He missed it when she was in Paris for the first five weeks of the summer.

Forrest Masterson and Lena Cooper had been best friends since they were six years old. They met in the daycare where Fallon Kennedy, now Masterson, used to volunteer. They couldn't stand each other at first, but they both grew on each other and declared that they were best friends and would always remain best friends. They spent all of their time together and it was rare when Forrest or Lena was seen without the other. They were practically attached at the hip.

“I thought you were going to be gone for another week,” Forrest said, releasing Lena from his hold.

Lena shrugged. “I couldn't miss River and Fallon's wedding,” she said simply. “Plus, I missed you.”

“I missed you too,” Forrest told her.

“I'm feeling the love here guys,” a voice said from behind them dryly. Forrest and Lena turned to see Ryder Kennedy shaking his head with a smile. “You didn't tell me you missed me, Lena. I'm offended,” he joked.

“Oh, you know I missed you Ry Ry,” Lena dramatically threw her arms around Ryder's neck with a laugh.

Ryder Kennedy was Fallon's half brother from their father, Jordan Kennedy's, second marriage. Forrest didn't know much about Fallon's parents except for that the marriage ended badly and Fallon's mother passed away when she was seven. Jordan and his daughters didn't have the best relationship, but they found a way to work things out and form some sort of family bond. That's when Fallon found out that she had a brother who was the same age as Forrest. Ryder and Forrest were practically brothers and Ryder's sister and Forrest's brother's marriage just made it even more official.

Forrest grinned, remembering the first day he and Lena met Ryder at daycare ten years ago.

Forrest, Lena, there's someone here that I want you to meet,” Fallon said, gesturing to the brown haired boy holding her hand.

Okay, Miss Fallon,” they agreed and eyed the boy next to her. Who was he? Forrest couldn't remember Miss Fallon saying anything about having brothers or sisters, so why was this boy holding onto her?

Fallon bent down so she was level with all three kids. “This is my brother, Ryder,” she explained. Fallon looked at her brother and nodded her head, a sign that she wanted him to say something.

Hi, I'm Ryder. I'm seven,” he said proudly.

I'm Forrest, I just turned seven,” Forrest replied a little smugly. “This is Lena,” he pointed at the blonde girl next to him. “She's my best friend and she turns seven soon too.”

Lena grinned and waved at Ryder.

I was wondering if you and Lena could play with Ryder today,” Fallon told Forrest. “He needs someone to play with and he wouldn't have any fun if he played all by himself. Do you think you could be friends with him Forrest?”

Forrest nodded his head of black hair at her eagerly. “Anything for you, Miss Fallon,” he grinned.

Fallon gave him a smile. “Thank you. What about you Lena? Can you be friends with Ryder too?”

Oh, yes, Miss Fallon,” Lena replied. “We can be the three musketeers!” she exclaimed.

Yeah!” the two boys exclaimed at the same time. Fallon smiled and walked away, leaving the trio to themselves.

I can be the leader,” Ryder said.

No, I want to be the leader,” Forrest argued.

But I'm bigger.”

Well, I... I'm cuter!” Forrest scowled. Just because Ryder was Miss Fallon's brother didn't mean that he could become the leader. That wasn't fair.

How about she decides?” Ryder pointed at Lena.

Forrest smirked. Lena was his best friend. Of course she would pick him to be the leader. Right? “Okay,” he agreed. “Lena, who do you want to be the leader?”

Lena's brown eyes looked back and forth between the two boys. She should pick her best friend. But what would Miss Fallon say if she didn't pick her brother? She hesitated. “I...”

Both boys looked at her eagerly. “Well?” they said.

I...” an idea suddenly hit her. “Why don't you both be the leader?” she suggested with a smile.

Ryder scoffed. “That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.”

Forrest saw Lena's smile fall and narrowed his eyes at the other boy. “That's not very nice! Lena's idea wasn't stupid,” Forrest looked over at Lena. “I liked your idea Lena,” Forrest looked at the other boy. “You and me can be co-leaders or you can't be friends with us.”

Ryder sighed. “Fine,” he didn't like the idea, but he still wanted friends. “We can be co-leaders.”

“Everyone, please put your hands together and welcome Mr. and Mrs. River Masterson!” Logan said into the microphone.

Forrest turned his head to see River and Fallon come through the double doors hand in hand, wide grins on their faces. Fallon had that bridal glow to her, which only made her even more beautiful in Forrest's eyes. Out of all his brothers' girlfriends—now wives—Fallon was his favorite. He was a little biased since he spent more time with her when he was a child, but Fallon was definitely the most fun to be around. He'd once heard his brothers and their friends talking about how bitchy she was, but Fallon was always nice to him. They were crazy for thinking that.

Once the reception started, River and Fallon took pictures with all the guests. Forrest was bored sitting at the front table with the rest of the wedding party. He wanted to sit with his friends. It wasn't that his brothers weren't any fun to be around, but Forrest was a teenager. He needed to interact with people his own age. He wanted to spend his time with Lena more specifically. He hadn't seen his best friend all summer and now that they were in the same place, he wanted to catch up with her.

The minutes seem to drag on for Forrest and he was relieved when everyone had eaten their food, Logan made his best man speech, River and Fallon cut their cake, and had their first dance. River was dancing with his four and a half year old daughter, Dannon, and Fallon pulled Forrest up to dance with her.

“Having fun?” she asked with a knowing smile on her face.

Forrest smiled back at her. “Of course, Fal. I just love weddings,” he said dryly. “I've only been part of three of them.”

The downside of being the youngest was that once everyone started getting married, Forrest was forced to attend wedding after wedding after wedding. He only had to sit through Charity and Dalton's wedding, but once Logan, Brock, and River all got hitched, he was forced to stand up by the alter as a groomsman. Damn brotherhood and family loyalty.

“Don't tell me you didn't love them,” she hit him playfully in the arm. Fallon nodded her head in Lena's direction. “Surprised?” she asked him.

Forrest turned his head to see Lena dancing with his four year old nephew, Phoenix, and Ryder was dancing with Charity's six year old daughter, Summer. He looked back at Fallon and grinned. “Yeah, I'm glad she came.”

“I thought you might be.”

Forrest raised an eyebrow. “Fal, did you have anything to do with Lena coming home early?”

Fallon shrugged. “I might have. You know I can be very persuasive when I want to be,” she winked. “I know how much you missed her.”

“Yeah, I did,” he sighed.

“Well, why are you still dancing with me then? Go steal Lena from Phoenix before he makes a move on her,” Fallon lightly pushed Forrest in Lena's direction, a small smile on her face. Perry Matthews, Fallon's best friend, came up to dance with her before someone else got to her first.

“Those two are so cute,” Perry grinned. “Definitely one of my favorite couples.”

Fallon nodded. “You can say that once they get together, Perry.”

He sighed. “It's only a matter of time.”

Forrest walked over to Lena and Phoenix and lightly tapped Phoenix on the shoulder. “Phoenix, my man, can I dance with Lena?”

Phoenix's mouth quirked. He scratched his head of black hair. “I don't know Uncle Forrest. I'm Auntie Lena's official bodyguard. So only if she wants to,” Phoenix's blue eyes shifted over to Lena. “Do you want to dance with Uncle Forrest, Auntie Lena?”

Lena smiled down at the boy. “Only for a little while, Phoenix,” she looked up at Forrest. “I haven't seen your uncle Forrest all summer and I've missed him,” she looked back down at Phoenix, brown eyes sparkling. “Would it be okay with you if he danced with me?”

Phoenix nodded. “Okay, Auntie Lena,” Phoenix narrowed his blue eyes at Forrest. “I've got my eye on you, Uncle Forrest,” he walked away and then ran up to his mother at the head table.

Lena turned around and smiled at Forrest. “Jeez, I've never seen so many Mastersons in one place,” she said, wrapping her arms around Forrest's neck.

Forrest laughed and settled his hands on Lena's waist, making sure not to go too low on her hips. “Yeah, but it's not exactly easy to point them all out.”

Logan had three children, triplets actually. He and Crystal named them Phoenix, Sawyer, and Zane; four years old, turning five in a couple months. Phoenix had the Masterson black hair and blue eyes, but Sawyer had brown hair and brown eyes, and Zane had black hair and hazel eyes. Brock had two year old Dante, who had Kansas' blonde hair and light blue eyes. River and Fallon had four, almost five, year old Dannon, who was the only Masterson girl in the bunch and had the signature black hair and blue eyes. Even though Charity and Dalton Riley weren't really part of the Masterson family, Forrest still treated them like family. They had a six year old daughter, Summer, who had brown hair and green eyes, and a three year old son, Dakota, who had blonde hair and brown eyes.

Lena shrugged. “At least there's variety in the family now. Not that I don't love your black hair and blue eyes,” she lightly scratched the back of Forrest's head with a smile.

“How was Paris?” he asked, twirling Lena around. “Did I tell you how great you look yet?”

Lena was the kind of girl who didn't spend a lot of time getting ready. She either kept her hair straight, in a braid, low ponytail, or in a messy bun. Her flawless face was always free of any make-up except for some light mascara. But Forrest had to admit that she looked great in the short lavender dress that hugged her athletic body nicely, blonde hair in loose curls.

Lena shook her head. “No, you didn't. Actually, I'm a little shocked it took you this long. Do you have any idea how long I took to look good for you?” she joked.

“You look always look good to me,” Forrest said honestly.

The blonde blushed slightly. “Yeah, well, I know I don't compare to your other girls...” she trailed off.

Forrest frowned. “Lena, you know you're my number one girl.”

Lena poked him in the chest playfully. “I better be,” she warned with a smile. “Which reminds me,” Lena smirked. “I'm surprised that you didn't invite any of your whores to be your date. Everyone knows that a wedding is the best place to get laid.”

“I don't need a wedding to get laid, Lena,” Forrest deadpanned. “I do a pretty good job at that all on my own, remember?”

“You never fail to remind me,” Lena rolled her eyes. “You know I still don't approve of you slutting it up.”

Forrest frowned. It was no secret that Lena didn't like how friendly Forrest was with the girls in their grade. She was just looking out for him of course. Like a good best friend should. She'd told him time and time again that she didn't want him to get herpes or some other STD. Her words, not his.

“Lena, can we not argue about this?” Forrest sighed. “Besides, Fallon said I couldn't bring anyone to the wedding. I'm guessing because you were going to be here,” he grinned. “And I'm glad you're here,” they stopped dancing and Forrest just held her in a hug. “I told you already, but I missed you. A lot.”

“I missed you too,” she said quietly. “And I'm sorry for bringing up your harem,” Forrest could hear the sincerity in her tone along with a slight amusement. He smiled and squeezed her tighter.

“Attention!” Logan said into the microphone. “River and Fallon would like to say something, so can everyone please take their seats?”

The youngest Masterson groaned. “Hey, it's almost over,” Lena assured him. “You and I can talk all about Paris when this is over.”

Forrest smiled a little. “Are you coming over later?”

Lena nodded. “If you want me to, but my parents are still in France if you want to keep me company at my house.”

“You had me at 'my parents are still in France,'” Forrest grinned. “Did you drive here?” Lena nodded. “Then I'll just get a ride with you then.”

“I'm pretty sure I still have some of your clothes too, so you can sleep over if you want.”

“Deal,” Forrest quickly kissed her on the cheek and made his way to the head table just as River started talking into the microphone.

“I'd like to thank everyone for coming and spending this special day with me and Fal,” River said. He started to say something else but Forrest zoned it out, blue eyes scanning the crowd. Once his name fell out of River's mouth, Forrest snapped his head in his older brother's direction.

“And, I'd especially like to thank my little brother, Forrest,” River winked at him. “Without you, little man, Fallon would have never agreed to marry me,” the guests laughed a little, but Forrest had no idea what River was saying.

“What's he talking about?” Forrest whispered to Logan.

Logan quirked an eyebrow. “You don t know?”

“If I did, then I wouldn't be asking you,” Forrest said sarcastically.

Logan chuckled. “Oh, you're going to love this one,” Logan said. “You know how River and Fallon are always making bets with each other?”

Forrest nodded. There was always some kind of bet going on between those two. They even started dating because of a bet. Named their daughter because of bet. “What does that have to do with anything?”

“Well, River bet Fallon that you would grow up and follow in your big brothers' footsteps. And since you have Fal wrapped around your finger, she accepted and told River that you would't turn out to be a manwhore like the rest of us by the time you turned seventeen,” Logan winked. “If River won, Fallon had to agree to marry him, and if Fal won, they wouldn't get married, but stay together.”

“That's a fucked up reason to get married,” Forrest said. “I can't believe they got married because of a bet.”

“Hey, little man,” Logan said. “They decided to get married when you were fifteen. You just turned seventeen, remember?” Logan reminded his brother. “Technically River won, but after having a kid and being together for so long, it was time for them to tie the knot.”

Forrest sighed. “Too bad Fal lost the bet. I know how much she hates losing. I hope I haven't disappointed her.”

Logan scoffed. “You couldn't disappoint Fallon if you tried. Besides, the apple doesn't fall from the tree.”

“You're right, I guess,” Forrest shrugged.

“Little man, you're a Masterson. There would be something wrong with you if you didn't have some fun with the female population.”
