Tick… tick… tick…

Tick… tick… tick…

Tick…… tick…… tick……

Tick………

Tick…………

Tick.

Time is still

Like a heart who has lost it’s lover

Still.

Like a body in a tomb

Never to awaken

Still.

A home at rest

Late at night.

Still.

A rotting log

Home to all

And nothing.

Oh, but the wind still blows

And the Robin, she sings

Children laugh, children cry

A new dawn always approaching

The Earth turns

And time

Is no longer

Still.
