No Sequel
I woke up to the sound of sirens ringing
and people screaming everywhere.
I got up and got dressed thinking about school,
wishing that I didn’t have to go there.
I rode my bike down the sidewalk,
through the quaking streets of Fort Worth,
where innocents were falling through the cracks,
swallowed into the core of the earth.
I arrived at school and secured my bike,
when meteors of bulky mass
blew it to pieces, leaving me thinking:
“Hooray! No more English class!”
Happy that life was finally looking up,
I was back in bed in a flash,
Then under the house, a volcano erupted
reducing me to ash.
