So many pressures binding me
I'm ready to hideaway, throw out the key
From work to school, family to friends
The differing want never ends

I try so hard to please them all
But slowly, quickly lose grip on the ball
I fight so hard but never win
Constantly dreaming of what has been

I hear their voices in my head
Their warring desires fill me with dread
Is it possible to please them all
Or am I setting myself up to fall
