Let’s Dance!

Immersed in boredom, pain,

Stunted, fate of the world -

Populated, barren, vain.

A frozen wonderland.

Emotion, free running,

Within it’s locked cage.

For it’s mate, longing,

Thought, who’s been slept.

Slowed, stopped – stasis.

A lifeless, broken watch,

Beneath skies status,

Its lustrous, delicate joy

Though cogs turn, still,

In this cage for none, full

‘Neath gentle moonlight, fill -

And timidly I answer.

Then inspiration rises,

Heart barking in delight.

Your world, your vices

Through the moons vision – mine.

The world, ticking into nothingness,

And you, your vortex of life,

Run away with me, for happiness.

For us, let doppelgangers live,

And let’s flee!

Into the moonlit rain

Don’t break our trance

Let’s smile, laugh.

C’mon, Let’s Dance!
