The bridge gives out beneath your feet,
You know not how nor where,
But onward you must go,
The journey has been tiring, long,
Harder still since you lost,
Your compass on the road.

Was it so hard to accept change
That you really couldn't bear to stay?
Tearing poor mama's heart asunder,
It's terribly selfish that you should wander,
She'll welcome you back if you'd only,
return.

Your shoulders sag under the weight,
The baggage you carry,
Is heavier today,
All your fears of maturity,
You rue conjuring up,
They've only brought you pain.

Was it so hard to accept change
That you really couldn't bear to stay?
Tearing poor mama's heart asunder,
It's terribly selfish that you should wander,
She'll welcome you back if you'd only,
return.

But if you'd only let her, please,
Just take you by the hand,
You'd learn dear boy, and then,
You'd understand, understand The
Path was paved by many,
Trouble has always been...

(I know it's hard to face the tumult)

But, an adult you will become.
An adult you will become
If you'd only return
home.
