.I stared down at my dirty hardwood desk, I felt a tap of a cold hand on my shoulder.

“Here” my classmate Diana whispered just quietly enough for our teach not to hear. Diana smoothly sliped the note into my hand. I glanced over at my best friend Lauren right before opening the note. I carfuly opend it and for some reason the paper was ice cold. It sent a shiver shooting up my spine. I stared at the note

Alexa, meet me at blackbird forest after school. You’ll never belive what I have to tell you!

I shut the note closed just sitting there staring blank at the chalk bored, thought’s rushed through my mind!

What does she need to tell me ?? what could be so important that I wouldn’t be able to belive it. I mean Lauren has been my very best friend since 2nd grade. I tilted my head just so carefully that I could see Lauren from the corner of my eye. She was looking right back at me, she shot me a sly wink as if to say don’t worry I know how you feel!

I spun my head around so fast that I could feel the air rushing through my ear’s. I felt hot and dizzy. Something was wrong but what?!? The ringing of the school bell echoed through the classroom. Everyone got up and collected there thing’s and ran out the door but for some strange reason it seemed as if everyone was moving in slow motion. I just sat there before Lauren came up and shook my are and tilted her head toward’s the door.

“Let’s go!” she knelt down and whispered in my ear.

I got up picked up my thing’s and walked straight out the door right before tossing the note into the trash.
