next to the conversations that stick out,

adjacent to your favorite drinks and foods,

down the hall from all your old birthday parties,

around the corner from your first day of school,

shut in a utility closet with your first pet and your favorite toy,

stashed away somewhere with your first true love,

in the great big box filled with your favorite color,

surrounded by music that made you laugh, cry, smile, frown, and live,

you'll find me...

I'm a voice in your head, that's all.

If ever you need me, I'm always there.
