As Mizu Akuma walked to Kyouka High School for the first day of his freshman class he had just finished his first year of training in the art of ninjutsu.

“Hey Mizu-kun” said a girl with blonde hair and blue eye’s she wore a school winter uniform.

“Hello Amy-chan” Mizu said

Amy was an exchange student from America who had moved to Japan.

“Where‘s your cousin?” Amy asked looking around.

Mizu could care less since it’s forbidden to keep any connections to other family members besides his father and sister.

“I don’t know?” Mizu said really not concerned

They reached the school in under a minute the day continued like usual math, English, science, and physical education. Mizu walked home alone like he always did but this time was different.

“What do you want Kaji?” Mizu said turning around to see his cousin holding a scythe Kaji was dressed in a long black coat that went to his feet, and had white eyes with black hair.

“Hi Mizu are you ready to die.” Kaji said switching to and attack stance.

“Kaji, did you go blind?’ Mizu said looking sad

“I don’t need your damn sympathy, just worry about yourself.”

He ran toward Mizu with full speed and sliced the air Mizu dodged at the last minute and the scythe cut a piece of his hair a line of blood ran down his cheek.

“Don’t do this Kaji we don’t have to kill each other.”

“Shut Up! The only way my mother will love me and my father will respect me is if I bring your head and all the others to his feet. I will have honor.”

“Do we really have to do this?”

Kaji just stared at him with a look of hate and determination.

“Fine if that is your decision. Die like a man or retreat like the rat you are!”

Mizu unraveled a katana and unsheathed it.

“So you finally draw your weapon, come cousin and I shall make this death as quick as possible.”
