MY EXPERIENCE IN THE HOUSE.

I quickly drove down the never-ending road. I saw that I was running on empty. I sighed as I noticed the sign that read, "NEXT GAS STATION - 200 MILES." I was bewildered; I must have taken a wrong turn. The concrete road soon turned into dirt. After several minutes my dirt-covered car began sputtering and almost immediately began to slow down. I glimpsed around and became aware that I was in the middle of the woods, surrounded by creepy, thick trees.

I saw a distant light on top of the close-by hill. I opened up my car door as I covered my eyes to prevent dirt getting into them. It was chilly; I reached into my backpocket. I pulled out my cell-phone and my matches. I put the matches back into my pocket. I flipped open my cell phone - it was almost dead and I had no service. I put it back into my pocket. I began walking toward the hill. After a few ten minutes I arrived at the house. I thought I could hear spooky, diminishing screams...almost non-existant. I looked at the old, wooden, medeival-like house.

It was in horrible shape. I walked up the big lawn towards the front porch. I knocked on the decaying door a couple of times. As I waited I heard the sound of an older vehicle approaching. I began to run across the lawn, trying to reach the dirt road; in need of desperate help. A few seconds before I reached the dirt-road, a rusting truck sped on by, just a few feet away. I waved and yelled for a good 10 seconds. The driver did not respond. I walked back up the lawn and reached the front porch. I heard a distant wolf howl off somewhere in the woods.

I had no choice now, I had to enter the house.

I slowly creeked open the door as I yelled, "Hello, anyone home?!" I waited a few seconds and there was no answer. I saw a little candle light off into the room. I walked into the house, wondering what to expect. After I was a few feet in the door behind me slammed closed.. I gasped, surprised and scared.

"Must have been the wind..." I muttered, trying to convince myself. But, the odd thing was, was that there was only a light, chilling breeze outside. I was now alone in a dark room. I searched along the walls for a lightswitch. Once I found it, I flipped it up. The dark, candle-lit room suddenly made the transition to a bright, blinding, hot sun. I fell to the floor with my eyes closed and my hands around my head, it burned! When I opened my eyes the room seemed normal. The room was what appeared to be a dining room. A wooden table and a few wooden chairs. There was a candle on top of the table. The whole room had paneled walls, setting a depressing mood..

Thinking to myself, I had obviously made a wrong turn; otherwise I would be in Washington eating some hot soup and socializing with my friends. A sharp, loud and high-pitched scream interrupted my thought. It came from upstairs. My instinct kicked in and before I knew it I was running up the ancient stairs. When I reached the top of the staircase a blood-drenched man holding a butcher knife was waiting for my arrival. He immediately dove for me; I barely dodged him. He tumbled down the stairs until he regained his balance. I ran like hell.
I ran into the closest room. I saw a dead body of a woman on the bed, she had red, fire-like hair. There was an older lamp next to the bed on a night stand and another door leading to a bathroom. It looked like she had been stabbed repeatedly with a knife. I had no time to cry or worry. I hurdled into the cramped closet. The man's footsteps became closer and closer until it was dead silent, except for my conscious to tell me to run like the wind. I felt something tugging at my jacket. I turned around and saw a tiny boy, dead, in the closet with me. He had been sliced up..It was horrible. I was petrified.

I ran into the narrowing hallway. I heard a loud cry. I remained frozen. A tiny kid, identical to the one in the closet ran into me.

"H-help me.." The tiny boy muttered. I couldn't speak.. The man appeared with a chainsaw; starting the chainsaw as the little kid and I screamed helplessly. I witnessed the little boy's horrific murder. I blinked and within a second's noticed they both disappeared. I ran down the crooked staircase, when I reached the first floor the walls were collapsing in with corpses flooding the rooms. A huge, growing, dark hole was in the middle of the room. Similar to a black hole.

A hand tried to pull me in. I reached into my back pocket and grabbed my matches while trying to escape. The house began to fall apart. I threw a lit match into the hole and began to run; within two seconds I heard a huge explosion from behind. I ran across the big lawn, taking one look back. The house appeared normal, once again; but still had that freakish glow. I walked down that dirt road, one last time... & I can still hear the diminishing screams of the tortured souls in the house to this day.

And that was my experience in the house.
