I looked out on the horizon while standing in a wheat field, seeing the sun fade into the earth. The sun shone a bright orange and the sky was filled with orange, pink, and purple clouds, almost like water colors spread across the sky.

The sun gleamed in my face, causing me to squint. Suddenly, a hand took mine. I held it tight and looked over to see a beautiful woman in a white, spaghetti-strap dress, ending at her ankles. Her blond hair is wavy and like the sun, cascading down her shoulders, ending at the bottom of her shoulder blades.

She glanced over at me, her blue eyes like sapphires and those eyes were filled with content and worry. She pulled me in for a hug, let go and faced the horizon once more.

Sam, don’t give up, not matter what anyone says. Only trust who you feel you can trust. Trust highly in your instincts. I love you.” She said, her voice slightly echoing.

I looked over at her, confused about what she meant, then, I was falling in black, no more landscape at all, just the abyss and me.

I woke up and realized it was another dream of a woman I didn’t know. She seemed so familiar; yet, I have no clue who she really is.

I looked out the window and saw that it was still dark. I checked my alarm and it was only three in the morning on a Saturday.

I sighed and fell back on my bed, sinking into the mattress and wrapping myself in my duvet. I felt sleep starting to consume my mind into complete darkness. Then, before I drifted away into a numbness of sleep, I vowed one thing and one thing only.

I vow that I will find out who this woman is, even if it kills me! I thought, my last one until I was finally asleep again, and only waiting for the next day to come.
