I wrote this poem with 'The Dyenity', a story I am currently writing, in mind. Critisicm is more then welcome.

Journey

An unknown path lays before us

Adventures yet to be had

A setting sun behind us

A past full of memories… good and bad

We’ll always remember

The times we’ve laughed and the times we’ve cried

And no matter what we go through

Follow your heart as your guide

As we travel forward

People aren’t always what they protray

Views will change, hearts will be broken

It’s only human for man to stray

They’ll be moments we’ll cherish

And moments that bring pain

We’ll hold onto the lessons we learn

And treasure the friends we gain

There are new places to go

Amazing things to see

Discoveries to be made

In this life-long journey
