For Lollzie and Mapley. Happy Birthday my wonderful girlies. Our song so I reckoned it was best if I used this one.
I am borrowing Cee and Mira's Vampire Girl's karoke idea for this fic, so thanks Dean for letting me.
My Wish
It was November 9th, the day of Maple's 14th birthday. Lollzie had taken her out, not knowing where Mira had gone off to. The two walked down to the pub after a day of torturing Isabella and Vaisey. The two were put into shock as they walked in. A green and purple banner hung from the ceiling, saying "Happy 14th Lollzie and Mapley." Lollzie was suprised mainly as this was a late birthday for the two. One of the back doors opened, and Mira pushed in a cart with a Robin Hood cake and a Mickey cake. Maple and Lollzie started to jump up and down as the rest of the RRA joined the party.
Mira disappeared right as Dean started to cut the cake, going to get her present for her two friends. They both smiled widely as Mira brought out the real Robin and the real Mickey. Maple quickly grabbed Robin, hugging him tightly, whilst Lollzie did the same to Mickey. Mira climbed on the stage with her microphone. "Happy Birthday to my wonderful sisters, Mapley and Lollzie!"she said, as she waited for the band to come on. "This one is for you two," she said, as Gary Levox, Joe Don Rooney, and Jay De Marcus, better known as the band Rascal Flatts walked onto the stage. Mira stayed on, handing Gary the other microphone as Joe and Jay took their instruments and started to play a song that Maple and Lollzie knew too well.
I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow,
And each road leads you where you want to go,
And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,
Mira smiled at the two girls, who grinned back as they watched their eldest sister sing their song to them. Mira smiled at the happy look on their faces. She was glad that they were enjoying their birthday surprise. She looked over at Gary, cueing him in for his turn to sing.
But more than anything, more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.
Maple grabbed Robin's hand, pulling him onto the dance floor. Mira smiled as Robin took lead over her friend, keeping her happy. Her smile got larger when Robin leaned in and kissed Maple on her cheek. Maple rested her head on Robin's shoulder, looking very happy. Mira was glad that Maple was enjoying her birthday with Robin. She took over singing from Gary.
I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And you always give more than you take.
Mickey stood up, taking Lollzie's hand and leading her to join Maple and Robin on the dance floor. Lollzie also looked happy. Mira had felt bad about being late on the party, but knew that Lollzie wouldn't of cared. She smiled as Mickey and Lollzie danced to the song slowly, watching Mickey gently play with Lollzie's hair and kiss her forehead. Lollzie blushed, turning up to look at Mira with a large smile. Mira smiled back, this time singing with Gary.
But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.
Mira smiled as both Lollzie and Maple continued to dance with the guys they had been crushing on forever. She smiled and keep singing the song, this time on her own.
As the song came towards the end, Jo Don, Gary, and Jay joined in with Mira to sing it.
This is my wish
I hope you know somebody loves you
May all your dreams stay big
At the end of the song, Mira climbed off the stage and let her country boys take over the music. Both Lollzie and Mapley gave her a hug. "Happy Birthday," Mira said once again, joining her friends to dance to Me and My Gang.
