My heart

My mind

Are two separate beings

When it comes to love.

My mind knows nothing

Of love

Shutting it out

And believing that it

Doesn’t exist.

My heart indulges

In love

Rolling in it

And jumping with joy

When it comes along.

I am stuck between the two

Having not to make such

A hard decision before.

I sided with my mind

For many years

Of my life

But lately,

My heart is winning

Proving that love

Is a wonderful thing

No matter

If my heart lies with

A fellow girl.

My heart won.

My mind lost.

And I’m happier than ever.

I can hush out,

“I love you.”

And mean

Every

Tiny

Bit

Of it.
