EQUALITY SHINES ABOVE
They say I’m different
They say I’m useless
It cuts me deep inside
I am continually bleeding
They just don’t realize I’m bleeding their blood
The blood that flows inside them
The blood of human
They spit in my face
As I try to get away
But I can’t move as they have captured me
They hold me in their hurtful pleasure
They see the person with black skin
Yet they are blind to see the real me
For they have no compassion
Why do they do this?
Do they find pleasure in my dying race?
If they gave me a chance
I would redeem mankind
And I dream the world will see a brighter tomorrow
For in the racial barrier
I am the Shield
I can’t ever be broken
But one day
Just maybe….
they will.
