Closure

So many times I let you get to me

I couldn't say no when you needed help

You were part of my "family", like a sister to me

I wanted you to be happy

I guess, in my own way, I tried to fight your battles

But I'm tired of you not knowing what you want

I'm tired of you crawling back each and every time

I'm just so tired of trying to help you.

I didn't want to push you away

But I had no choice

(I need to protect myself more than ever).

So go on and live your life

I guess this is my Closure to you

The last time I speak of this

The last time I resurrect this pain

From it's oh so dusty crypt

Goodbye dear friend

How I hope for you to find your way

I wish you all the best, this much is true

But I refuse to open my defenses to you anymore

You're "strong", you can survive.

Good luck to you

Find the happiness you deserve

As for me?

This.

Is my Closure

NOTE:: Closure, oh sweet closure. How it makes me happy.
