I've come to a conclusion. I can't
continue to hide my new(er?) sense
of being in the rubble and sludge of
my past.

I've been through hell and back and
scalded my hands on the magma -
the bee hives and the turtle shells-
the sea floor and the horns of rams.

I am willingly along for this ride,
even though I'm not entirely sure
where I'm headed.
