the few blocks between us feels longer every day
it's thanksgiving, and i don't have much to say
i love you, even though i can't be there to show so
eat up, laugh with family and i'll be there tomorrow.
you know i'm thinking about you,
i say it all the time.
you that i love you,
i mean it everytime.
i'm thankful for
a love that is returned
the food that isn't burned
and all the lessons learned.
the fact that i can't be at your side is a tragedy.
but the fact that you're smiling is enough to make it up to me.
