A poem about addiction. The formatting was supposed to be different and sorta chaotic...but it didn't upload that way.

I'm begging you to

Avert

your

stare.

Inside of myself

Trapped

It's rushing right through my veins

And I hope that you won't see me like this…

but I know you do

I know you do.

Shame scratched

up and down the walls,

But somehow it cannot seem to stop

This

vice, suffocating

Don't look at me like this…

but I know you are.

I know you are.

This space is getting smaller

Revulsion and hurt

etched into flesh

And yet this is what I lust after

Crumbling to powder

in my hands,

Right in front of me

Don't let me die like this…

but I know you will

I know you will
