Sickle Cells

I took a breath
You stole it back
The way a kiss works
When it's not there

So cold to breathe
Round all this ice
It must be nice to
See blind through the snow

Have a path you know
Strewn before you
Every step icicled, cyclical
Sickly cold

Breathing's not easy at all
When you lose your heart
Beat in all too warm water
