It's just a small poem I wrote for school and decided to post it up on here.

Living in my life
Going through the frenetic days of my life,
I try to blithe and hide my inner pain.
Even with my fake smile people always find me culpable,
No one seems to want to cheer me up or give a hortatory speech.
They enjoy watching me alone with no one to turn too,
I ignore every one of them from the provocative to the toady.
It may not be a benign excuse but I like to be left alone,
I am use to them thinking that I'm an indecorous bumpkin.
As the long day fades into another peaceful night,
The soporific sounds of the cars driving tries to put me to sleep.
But in the background the orotund voice of my neighbor could be heard,
He is a kind and gentle old man, who treated me as a daughter to him.
As his voice faded into the background with the passing cars,
I faded into another night's sleep hoping tomorrow will never come.
