Gummy wars

A war between gummies

Is a frightful one

Fueled by anger and ego and greed

Since the mid 1920's the bears have been

The gummies of choice

But with the invention of worms

They've been reduced to nothing more

Than a dollar-store counter

Now it's not the worms fault

That they got so bug

The rooky of the year

But the bears were a classic

They earned their pristine

And it was time to let their pride shine.

The poor worms were just sitting

When the cannon was shot

Hundreds of nerds everywhere

Taking the younger candy by surprise

The worms were in shock

To see who had shot them

The bears, other gummies

What would cause them

To do such a crime?

At once the bears jumped

Bearing toothpicks, on the worms

Stabbing, watching the cool neon-green liquid

Flow out the wounds

Now the worms were not smart

But they sure were not dumb

They jumped back in fear

But returned blind with rage

They coiled their tails

Around the bears necks

Squeezing their heads off

With one quick jolt

The worms fought long, and the worms fought hard

But they were greatly disadvantaged

Because without the use of arms and legs

There was not much they could do

Now the sour patch kids

All came to their aid

But by then it was too late

For the bears had regrouped

And silently stalked their prey

One worm yelled "Look!" and pointed

To the desk up in the sky

And all saw the tub of water

Just as it hit them

Flooding the battlefield

Dissolving everything left.
