If misery loves company
Why is it that my only company is misery
A dark shadow over my heart
My whole life has been torn apart
I wake every morning I don't know why
Everyday seems to take forever as it goes by
I feel so distant from this world
Far away has my trust been hurled
To live and laugh a life of love
To soar as high as the dove
For this I strive one day to find
Some happiness in this contrite heart of mine
