Oh baby
you know you had me
wrapped around your finger.
I know that you're gone,
yet your voice still lingers.
In this room I feel
the echoes of our past.
It's so sad that a love
like ours didn't last.
The feeling was great,
too great to be true.
Though you are gone
I still love you.
You used to love me
but that went away.
And for your reasoning
you never did say.
So I am left here
all alone
with nothing to do
but cry and moan.
Waiting and searching
for something to clutch.
Though you've said differently,
I never meant much.
