Worlds Away (5-5-01)

She sat looking into a picture.
An old and ripped picture,
The picture that told of a fate.
Of a beautiful dream guy.
The perfect guy,
If one doth exist.

"Thee," she would say,
"Art going to save me,
Rescue me from this loneliness.
Save me with thy kindness,"

She'd look into the picture,
Day in day out.
She knew she wouldn't meet him.
Least not in that life.
But she knew that one day she would.

Is was etched in her book.
And her book never lied.
It always told her the truth,
Just like her Knight would,

Her Knight would shine,
Shine in a light from the Heavens.
And she would know it was he.
She would know when it was time.

But not on that life.
In another life far away.
In a different century.
In a different millennia.

But he would be there for her.
Await her with a loving heart.
To comfort her in her darkest hours.
To kiss her and say all is right.
And all would be right.
For they'd have each other.

But not in this life.
In another life.

As she stared into the picture
She decided she could wait forever.
As long as he'd come to her one day.
And that was all she needed.
All she'd ever need was him.
