the air is losing power

Everyone seemed to notice the tension in the air. No one could put their finger on the source, but only certain ones were aware of the truth.

The government was taken over by a militia ten years ago. The militia put its leader in place. Last night, the leader was killed by the Blue Navy, the original government's army. Now, the militia is reorganizing, but they have chosen not to tell the journalists or citizens why the Blue Navy has become a threat.

The Blue Navy lost its head general when the militia took over. When this happened, the Blue Navy divided to become what they are now. Half broke off into a group only known as the air, and the rest left the mainland to become the Blue Navy. Ever since, this news is the only word coming from them.

As the sun rose into the sky, the disinct sound of planes came from the west. People then heard the sirens. A war ten years before the milita threatened the people, and the militia's former leader fought for two years, and the sirens were put in place to warn of outside dangers. The current pattern meant that forces were building at sea. The Blue Navy was striking.

The air built up their forces just as the sounds rose from the coast. Battalions were firing onto the sirens. They wanted us to be defenseless. Little did they know, the air was doing the same.

The government was wary when it came to technology. When the militia took over, they immediately chose certain citizens to develop better weapons. I was one of those citizens and I developed DNA weapons specifically for certain members of the Blue Navy: any rank over colonel.

As the sun hit its highest point, I fired the weapons. Haze filled the air as fifty members fell. Confusion fulled the air as the next set of weapons was fired.

The weapons were developed specifically for the lower ranks. The weapon attached to the pins on their uniforms. Luckily, they hadn't changed a bit of their original strategy.

As he sun began its journey downwards, the air began getting people to arsenals. We rebuilt our forces as the hidden members of the Blue Navy began to strike.

Then, my most effective defense weapon was put into place: a metal spike system. As soon as one member of the Blue Navy crossed a certain point, the spikes shot up from the ground, killing many of the hidden members, except for two.

As I turned to leave the control room for a special weapon, two members of the Blue Navy went into one of the holds. I set off a seies of beeps and set the tank to self-destruct. Everyone who understood the beeps ran. After ten seconds, a massive explosion rocked everything. The Blue Navy was defeated, but the air had other plans. They had not been fully included with the technology, so they triggered the most destructive weapon of all.

Everyone stopped as the rapid beeping began. After five seconds, everything went black.
