I cannot help but watch
the giants soar
on their gray wings,
titans of earth
gain dominion over the sky,
Roar in triumph
to the specks below
those graceful arcs,
revere the air they breathe,
as I do
Remain
stuck on the ground
unable to fly,
but someday I will
ascend
amidst their majesty
Take refuge
from storms
sustained by my gray wings
