I don't like the chick Shakespeare wrote this poem about. She's a spoiled brat.

Could you compare me to a summer day?
It is fitting, and I sure deserve it.
Though winds may shake the darling buds of May,
I've been working so hard for my little bit.
I'd love to be the subject of that poem.
See, all that Bill's girl did was flirt and wink
and learn to keep a proper house and home
And wash the dishes in the kitchen sink.
Why does my summer have to go and fade?
I try harder than that girl ever did.
'Cause right now I'm sure wand'ring in Death's shade;
When my life is finished they'll cap the lid.
-
Will someone make a memory of me
So when I'm gone, my life is worth something?
