Physical
Bad dreams and memories,
fights long since passed,
a tightness that strains
through your neck, down your back,
anger welled up
in the pit of your stomach
and sadness carved out
from your head to hands.
The things that pound
against the walls of your brain,
hanging heavy from your shoulders.
This is what keeps you
standing in place,
buried under the weight of worlds.
