Watermelon vodka, ginger-ale.
On the bed.
talking aimlessly to fight off boredom
and exhaustion.
Notice me, notice me please.
Say something, anything.
Just let me know
I'm not that seventeen-year-old
social pariah
I tried so hard to leave behind.
Tell me I'm not failing.
Tell me this is a place
I can finally call home
