On December 23rd 2009 the Auburn High School (in Auburn Massachusetts) select choir, and jazz band went around the other schools in the area caroling, and spreading the holiday spirit. We had made it to the final school of our rounds, which happened to be Mary D. Stone School; where I went to kindergarten through second grade. This was where I was when Columbine happened, where I was on 9/11/01. Those were the days that even when stuff to that affect happened we wouldn't understand; we were in a world of bliss. When we arrived three of my friends and I all headed for the teachers room there to hang up our jackets. All of a sudden one of my friends accidentally hit another with her shoulder.
"Ouch that hurt!" Exclaimed the victim.
"I'm so sorry here let me give you a hug," the culprit said apologetically as she leaned in to hug her.
"No stay away from me!" The victim exclaimed.
"Here I'll give you a hug," I stated as I took a step closer to her.
"No!" Shouted the victim.
"It's okay, I'll give her a hug," my other friend who wasn't involve said as she began to put her arms around the victim.
"Get the fuck off me!" The victim threatened.
I looked up due to the fact that there were two teachers in the lounge. They hadn't heard but it could have been a bad situation.
"There are teachers here," the uninvolved friend stated.
"No shit Sherlock, there are teachers I every school," the victim stated.
"Yeah but she means there are seriously teachers here," the culprit retorted.
The victim friend just sighed, and shook her head.
"No really turn about 180°," I said.
She turned around to see two elementary school teachers sitting in seats directly behind her, and she exclaimed, "Oh there are teachers here!"
The two teachers looked up from their lesson plans, and gave my victim friend a look that rhetorically asked, "What are you smoking?"
My victim friend just blushed, and put her face in her hands. The three of us all came up, and gave her a group hug.
"Oh will you stop it?" She asked menacingly.
