Release

I'm not looking to say something,

get a point across.

I just want to throw all these words

out of my body.

I have so much building up inside me,

it's like a physical pressure

pushing against my bones,

my veins, my sanity.

This is me

making a pinprick in skin,

letting out a tiny, steady stream

to give me relief.
