"The Story"

The story starts where we least expect it

Beginning with the end of all this shit

To cry alone all through the night

Or to kill another just out of spite

We lie down and watch the storm through the day

As you weep and listen to what I have to say.

Just listen to the words that I speak

Because times aren't what you think as bleed

We all go through what you think is hell

Why throw up the white flag and ring the bell?

Don't give up on what is true

Because there are times where we're just as blue.

Life is a challenge, whether you live or not

Carried out through teaching not taught

The knife stabbed into your heart

Is but a beautiful piece of art

As you cry over something just a plain

Remember happiness comes even in rain.

Try and listen to the words that I sing

Because I'm leading you into spring

Stop living this depressing way

Just sing the meaning that I say

Step away from winter's cold scream

And embrace what was once just dream.

The light shines even in dark

As you lay, stabbed through the heart

We all feel like we've been betrayed

But it's all just a big charade

As it all simply fades away

Leaving but the spirit to stay.

If you would rather lie down and cry

Then why don't u crawl in a hole and die

But if you would rather live a life

Then this time don't live in strife

Away with the tears drizzling down your cheek

For this life no longer lives bleak.

Listen to your heart of gold

For this once you may be told

Because life does not exist in the dark

But it lies in the hollow of your heart

It is not something just as plain

But brings sunshine through the rain.

These clouds of somber and gray

Will leave amidst this day

For that which, ago, fell apart

No mends into a heart

So just listen to the message that I send

For this story, plain and simple, ends.
