I'm lost in the world of my imagination

Faerie's dance on my hands

Laughter escalates as they fly

I run as fast as I can

I can't catch up

They are flying so fast

And then one stops for me

I look into her eyes and see a glimmer of hope

Of friendship and possibility

Then she trickles something over me and whispers in my ear

"You are a faerie princess, embrace it, breathe in the air."

I sigh as I feel wings growing from my back

And turn to hold her hand

I push off with my legs and suddenly I'm free

And fly as fast as I can…
