AN: Inspiration was from a day of an ice storm and I still had to go to class on my campus. Not fun, but enjoy this little poem.

We With Boots

In the slush and on the ice,

We with boots march

To our classes

That were not canceled

On this freezing raining day.

----

We with boots make sure

That all know we have them

By walking through puddles

Of semi-liquid slush

And semi-solid rain

Kicking high up
What's on the ground

Into the air

And onto people's pant legs.

We with boots don't care

What they think of us

Because we with boots

Only care

That we have them.
