Nothing
Nothing can fill…
Though I've truly tried,
Blasted pop music to the sky,
Lost myself in a dance,
But it's still inside me:
This hollow space…
It's hard to have a fresh start.
With your abrupt halt to heart-to-hearts,
Long replies that go unnoticed,
Creating this sense
Of sudden emptiness…
I've only left for (what) a year?
And yet it seems crystal clear,
That we never knew each other.
A broken promise to keep in contact
Which no one can heal…
Except time and love and care
Cause now I'm more aware
And thanks to you,
A lot less believing
Because of you.
