Stark memory strikes
lightning from muted skies
God throws down his hand
Veils unfolded daily
waves in an empty ocean
and the drum echoes
Seeing past myself
valleys stuffed with moss
the beast roars in the night
Touching a mystery
a blank space of light
and the twist of time
Love of life
digging holes in the concrete
with my shattered shovel
