An: Well my friends, I'm back. It's been too long hasn't it? So be on the lookout for poems about angst, humor, and life. Anyways here is the first poem that I wrote after years of taking a sabatical. This poem is virtually about wanting to have something that everyone wants somewhere down the line. Personally I wanted to have the same things too, but I've finally decided not to aim for that...ever. So this poem is for those who want this kind of thing in their life. I also know that I'm saying one thing, and the poem is saying another. However this is pretty much how I felt about the subject, before I came to my final conclusion. Anyway I don't want to spoil the poem for you, and so I'll leave you to it. Please let me know what you think about it. Laters.
I wish that I had someone
That shared my same eyes
I wish that I had a little one
That I could call all mine
I wish to see their smile
Full of happiness and glee
I wish that I had someone
That reminded me of me
I wish that I had the tears
When their in pain
I wish to sooth all the ills
When someone calls my name
I wish that I had the chance
To truly belong to another
I wish someday that I can be
Someone they call mother
