They found him hanging by his neck

In the kitchen, Sunday morning.

With a note on the floor

By his dangling feet.

He hung from the ceiling

Like a broken puppet

And his last goodbye

Lay crumbled on the floor.

"Dear friends, one and all,

My life was never meant to be.

I never thought that I was worth it.

I knew this world's better off without me."

His broken body lies forgotten in a hole.

His name's etched onto a stone.

His family never got over it

And they still cling to his last goodbye.

"Dear friends, one and all,

My life was never meant to be.

I never thought that I was worth it.

I knew this world's better off without me."

And while he leaves us all behind

He still left his last goodbye.

"I'm not worth the trouble!

Damn my life to Blackest Hell!

"No one ever really cared!

You're all happy to see my gone!

Dear friends and family

I never believed in your love!"

His name lies forgotten on a pure white rock.

His body's long turned to dust.

And no one tries to remember

His last final goodbye.

"Dear friends, one and all,

You made my life worth living.

And I'm sorry for the pain I caused…

But, hah, you deserved it!"
