You never really realize
How fragile your own little
Bubble of a world is,
All the rainbow prism colors
Dancing about the edges of your vision,
Until something comes along
And pops it with a loud
Smack!
And leaves you stranded
Somewhere you've never been
A place where you can only be
Afraid, of what can happen next.
-----
Someone just popped my bubble
Quite painfully
(You don't really want to know, I'm just writing this
So that it may be noted
That I am different now;
World, I hope you're laughing now
That someone so happy
Has been turned so desperate
Good for you.)
