Author`s Note: Hello. I know it`s been months since I`ve last posted anything on fictionpress, but I`m just posting this author`s note to let everyone know that the companion novel to The Debutante, Dueling the Duke, is now up.
You will find many differences between the story in terms of plot and style. For example, Olive has been renamed Olivia, and there are several events in Dueling the Duke that are not mentioned in The Debutante. My new story is also written in past-tense, third-person. Later on, I will edit The Debutante to better reflect these changes.
I`m sorry for the confusion that this will cause old readers. I hope that you`ll be able to enjoy Dueling the Duke and treat it as a stand-alone novel instead of a sequel.
