I want to be the tape on your walls
The pictures in your bedroom
The magazines on your floor.
I want to be the empty cans in your recycling basket,
And the sweet taste of Lemon tang
As it slides down your throat.
I want to be the freckles on your nose,
Nestled tightly and softly
Against your pale skin.
I want to be the girl down the hall,
The one you wait for everyday.
Or the pen that you hold,
As you write me a poem.
I want to be everything.
The loose leaf papers scattered in your locker,
The tests you didn't study for.
I want to be the change in your pocket,
Thoughtlessly exchanged for a soda when you're thirsty.
I want to be the anger in your voice,
As you scream at me.
"Go away!"
