Left over from the high
Self deception, this is all
that is left of my spiritual
high for me. Silence comforts
me in the abyss where music
doesn't exist. Please forgive me
and forget me. You will always
have a piece of me with you
because I am a nice person that
gives you peace even in separation.
Patient, I speak God's language which is
silence hoping you will appreciate my
innocence. My existence is all that is left
over from the dawn and night that you have been
ignoring for so long. My existence is
left over from the celestial light surrounding
you after your lovers and friends have slipped
away. My existence is all that is left over from
the high that you gain from smoking. Please
notice, cherish, love and remember me.
